Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition is a key component of a healthy life.

What does “healthy” mean to you? Many people would explain “health” as eating plenty of vegetables, fruits, complex carbohydrates, lean proteins, and getting regular exercise. That’s a good, simple definition of living a “healthy” life.

In order to live full, healthy lives our body requires nourishment to properly function. Food choices affect how we feel, how well we are able to maintain our energy levels, and how our mind is able to focus.

Eating well doesn’t have to be complicated. But we can make it that way when we stop listening to the signals our body sends during stages of hunger.

Understanding what your body requires is going to be different from anybody else’s needs. Since we are each unique, our nutritional needs will vary slightly. Listening to your body’s hunger cues is a first step in mindfulness and fullfilling your nutritional needs.

These are all topics that I’ll be diving into on this blog. Stay tuned for more from me about this exciting, interesting, and delicious topic of nutrition!
